Sadly, Lisa Radogno, the 31 year-old daughter of Illinois Senate Minority Leader, Christine Radogno, died yesterday of a massive pulmonary embolism.
Lisa, one of the Senator’s three daughters, served as the executive assistant in Illinois Senator Mark Kirk’s Washington DC office.
In Senator Radogno’s own words; “To all my friends: Late today, my beautiful middle daughter, Lisa Marie Radogno, was called home. Her death was sudden due to a massive pulmonary embolism. We knew the news was not good all day but the finality is beyond painful. Her Washington, D.C. friends have been fantastic. So great to see how much she was loved.”
Funeral arrangement are pending.
Our hearts, thoughts and prayers go out to the Senator and her family and I plan on giving my sons an extra hug or two today.
