I can’t tell you how much I loved doing this show and I want to wholeheartedly thank former Northern Illinois Law School Dean, Professor Mark Cordes, for sharing his eminently cogent thoughts on the First Amendment and social media. Not only is it a fascinating topic, but it was quite fun to have a free speech expert agree with much of what I’ve been saying for years.
The truth is that only the government can engage in censorship and Freedom of Speech in no way guarantees the freedom of consequences from that speech. Though Professor Cordes certainly was nervous about the vast power those 500 lb. social media gorillas wield. Stay tuned for part two later this week.

Upcoming shows will include a conversation with U-46 School Board candidate LeJewel Crigler covering the new education bill coming out of Springfield, County Board Health Committee Chair Jarett Sanchez will talk about then Kane County vaccine rollout, and my frequent co-host Jeff Meyer will be back to discuss all the local news of day!
Until then…
