What is wrong with Jim Oberweis? Now it's Beth Goncher?

What is wrong with Jim Oberweis? Now it's Beth Goncher?

So the six million dollar man – that’s what he spent to finally win a state senate seat primary – gets up at a central GOP committee meeting and does his damndest to rally the crowd with cries of “We’ve gotta get Beth Goncher elected!”
Goncher is running against Democrat Brian Pollock (I spelled his name right this time) in the 4th District County Board race, the seat currently held by Bonnie Kunkel.
But we all know the truth is that Mr. Oberweis’ call for yet another Kane County GOP jihad is nothing more than political payback to those infamous and fading self-proclaimed political power brokers who’ve entertained us for all these years, Denny Hastert and Dallas Ingemunson.
Beth Goncher has absolutely nothing to offer Kane County. Her only claim to fame is running Rep. Tim Schmitz’ Batavia office and his only accomplishment is kissing Tom Cross’s butt so often he’s left lip marks.
Of course, the plan is for Goncher to get elected to the county board and then follow Oberweis in the State Senate after 4 short years because Jim can’t even make it through one short county board meeting without falling asleep. And Goncher’s sole qualification is her allegiance to Denny and Dallas. After all, that’s all that really counts  – right?
Those two hitched their star to the wrong folks in Kane County so now they’ve set their sights on Springfield. I can’t wait to see Dallas and Denny go into complete conniptions when Dan Rutherford waltzes right into that Governor’s mansion
Goncher’s petitions were submitted by Ellen Nottke – a real piece of work – and notarized by Susan Secondi, who comes in a close second to Nottke. That’s as insider (but soon to be outside) as it gets. What bugs me is people like Goncher don’t even try to keep up appearances anymore. They just take the public’s obliviousness for granted.
And please don’t try and tell me Goncher hasn’t come up with three grand in contributions yet which would be the only explanation for her failure to file as much a D1 or D2 thus far. These folks’ trademark behavior is believing the rules don’t apply to them.
Jim! Wake up. You could actually do some good in Springfield, but instead, you’re bent on aligning yourself with people who’s time has passed. The second you walk out of a room, all your  GOP “friends” start making fun of you. To them, you’re a buffoon with deep pockets and nothing more. It’s really sad.
Dallas and Denny! It’s been over for years! Now you’re just embarrassing yourselves.

  1. First of all I would like to say fantastic blog! I had a quick question in which
I’d like to ask if you do not mind. I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear
your head prior to writing. I have had difficulty clearing my mind in getting my ideas out there.
I do enjoy writing however it just seems like the
first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be wasted simply just
trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or tips?
    Cheers!
