Larry and I want to thank Elgin City Councilwoman and current candidate Rose Martinez for coming in and making her “opening statement.” She outlined some very interesting possibilities!
We also bid a fond farewell to Kane County Board Member Jesse Vazquez. His untimely death has left his family in the lurch so if you want to make a donation to lighten their load you can do that right here.
Another tip of our hat goes to Joe Cluchey who called in to discuss the new U-46 Standards Based Grading system. We agreed that while the logic behind the move wasn’t bad, the implementation could use some work. We’ll keep our eyes on this one.
