The DOA Report 11 – February 11, 2021

She’s off to bang up start

That’s right! Our new Kane County Chairman, Corinne Pierog, couldn’t make it through two months without making it abundantly clear that it’s far better to be lucky than smart. In fact, she couldn’t even get through December without an open meetings violation, a malfeasance she repeatedly accused the previous administration of engaging in.

Of course, after she herself violated the statute, she had the nerve to play the poor lost grandmother claiming she made a mistake because she was unsure about the rules and, da’gonnit, she was gonna bone up on the statute and learn from her mistake.

Right. And I have Jewish space laser I’m willing to part with dirt cheap.

The column continues right here!

  1. So in other words you are saying that since only 19% of the students are returning that now the parents are idiots and don’t care about their children? Weren’t you they one advocating to listen to the parents?

    1. Tom,

Whoa, whoa, whoa! I don’t know what percentage of CPS kids are returning. All I know is, when they tried to force the teachers back to the classroom in mid-January, only 19 percent of the students came back. I have heard no reports on how many have come back this round.

And no! I’ve never advocated for anything like that. I’ve fully advocate for following the CDC and all the medical evidence which clearly indicates a swift return to in class learning. Furthermore, remote learning is taking a far greater toll on our children than the plague ever will.
