And the reason I’m advising y’all to “hold on” is because this liberal host most certainly met his match today, and and it came in the form of former South Elgin Village Manager, Larry Jones. How dare he insult my non-existent radio career!

Jeff Meyer
Jeff Meyer

We covered a number of topics including our mutual fondness for a mishap prone Jim Oberweis, impending Elgin City Councilwoman Rosamaria Martinez, and our thoughts on Cook County Commissioner Tim Schneider as Illinois GOP Chairman.
Then 43rd District GOP State Rep nominee Jeff Meyer joined us in the studio to kick start his campaign against Democratic opponent Ann Moeller. And I gotta tell ya, though he’s certainly running up hill, his accurate assessment of just what a State Rep can actually accomplish was dead on.
If the political gods permit it, we’ll get Jeff and Anna on the show for a Left, Right and You debate.
Another thank you to Tim Elenz, not only for joining us in the studio, but for suggesting that Larry do the show. Who knows? That arrangement may well become permanent!
Enjoy the show!

  1. Thanks for having Jeff Meyer on the show. I now plan on helping him and his campaign. I believe he can/will make a positive difference for our community and state. Also, I compliment Wards comment on Noland’s win as; due to a blundering effort! Bottom line, enjoy your show, and . . .Best of Luck to Jeff Meyer.

  2. Steve,
Thanks for listening to the show! Our goal is to provide political enlightenment through a balanced approach with a bit of humor thrown in. And it’s always fun when a politician surprises you like yesterday.
