Listened to your Pod Cast first time I ever listened to a Pod cast. I would say you did well but i have nothing to compare it to. Actually it was like the reverse of radio. I have seen your picture but was surprised by your voice (in a good way) usually on a radio when you see a DJ you are surprised how he looks as you have an imagine in your mind.
Anyway Jeff, with all your experience on both sides of the criminal justice system if you are being tried by a judge in a bench trial the motion is for a Directed Finding as the judge is finding you not guilty in a jury trial you ask for a Directed Verdict as the judge is telling the jurors to issue a verdict of not guilty. I found that out early. At least you did not say anyone filed a motion to squash something as opposed to quash something. And a further aside in law school someone in criminal law said he was convicted and hung. The teacher said he may have been hung but if he was executed he was hanged too.
