It’s time to get ready for Left, Right and You!

Coming up at 3 p.m. today on WRMN AM1410, the Smiling Conservative and I have our last candidate – U-46 School Board hopeful Kai Rush. Per those Left, Right and You pre-election rules, we’ll give Kai 15 minutes to make his opening statement.

kaiSadly, D304 School Board candidate Tina Yagla will not be able to make it to the show today because her mother has been hospitalized. We all hope for a quick recovery! In lieu of Tina, I’ll briefly explain why I’m supporting the conservative candidates in my home school district. And remember, my wife is a teacher!

Then we’ll talk about Elgin OCTAVE’s scurrilous Left, Right and You based attack on the only two minority candidates in the Elgin City Council contest. That supposed “less government” group started  by trying to throw another candidate off the ballot, then they ambushed Mayor Kaptain at an “unbiased” candidate forum, and their latest effort was a deceitful mailer making it appear like the previous Elgin City Council budget vote was anything by unanimous.

And you thought AFLA was dead!

We will also examine the Kane County Republican Party’s (and especially the Deputy Chairman’s) role in pressing the attack on the only Hispanic Elgin city council candidate it what’s supposed to be a non-partisan election.

Of course, that’s Left, Right and You with the Smiling Conservative, Larry Jones, and Jeff Ward, the Liberal Curmudgeon, Mondays from 9 to 10 a.m. and Thursdays from 3 to 4 p.m. on WRMN AM1410. You don’t wanna miss this one folks!
