And the Left, Right and You radio torch passes to Jeff Ward and Allen Skillicorn!

First, my sincere thanks to Tim Elenz and Paul Edwards for not only giving me my radio break, but for turning the show over to Allen and I for the foreseeable future. We appreciate their faith and confidence and will do our best to carry on in their proud tradition of heated, but reasonable debate.

With Paul back in the studio for the first time in a month, today’s show included a fascinating recap of the presidential election as well as our widely varying viewpoints on the future of the national Republican Party. Ironically, it was Paul who didn’t hold out much hope for a future GOP resurgence.

I’m not so sure that’s the case.

If you missed it live, not to worry! You can hear the whole thing right here:  Left Right and You Nov. 27

And for those of you who want to be part of our new media juggernaut, Allen and I are looking for sponsors! Please let us know if you’re interested.

Trust me, it’s going to be an interesting ride and our fondest wish is that you join us for the journey.

  1. Congratulations….I think.

  2. Jeff and Allen, wising you all the best with this new endevour. The WRMN listeners are lucky to have you take over the seats. Maybe someday our community can be lucky to have Tim take over a seat! I will always listen when I can, Steve Thoren

  3. Wow! Where has this site and radio show been during my life? This is great, and with 2 of the best of them in Jeff Ward and Allen Skillicorn on the air. When you guys going to get into discussing local politics in Kane County, like the launch of the Chris Lauzen administration in the Kane County? Will Chris Lauzen become another DuPage County Board Chairman Dan Cronin? Will Lauzen exceed his former senate colleague?

Let’s hear some speculation about the incoming Kane County Board being sworn-in on Monday (12/3). Of the new 24-member board, which members will be on Chris Lauzen’s Executive Committee?

Additionally, with comprehensive immigration reform now a hot topic, and with Kane County having the highest Latino population (per capita) in Illinois, what is the local take on the amendments to Senate Bill 0957 (2nd Floor Amendment)?

Hopefully will hear more on these topics, from the local perspective.

    Keep up the great work!
